Link checker

VisionCOS-LinkChecker/1.0 checks the links and images on websites built with Vision Content OS, so their authors hear about broken ones. If it's in your logs, someone's page links to yours.

What it does

• Sends a HEAD request, or a GET (reading only the headers) when HEAD isn't allowed.
• Makes at most two requests at a time to a host, and checks each URL at most once a week.
• Follows up to five redirects.
• Doesn't crawl: it only requests URLs that appear on a Vision page.

Stopping it

Answer its requests with 403; that counts as "fine", so it won't be reported or retried more often. Questions: contact us.
